Oral Health America is a pioneer in conducting programs and initiatives with
a proven track record of raising awareness and affecting change. Each has successfully
started at the national level and gained support from public, private and voluntary
partners at the state and local level.
Raising awareness of oral health and oral health issues among policy makers,
opinion leaders, and the public through targeted communications efforts including
the National Oral Health Grading Project.
Assisting in the growth and development of local, regional, and state coalitions.
A web-based resource providing data and information on the positive impact
of community water fluoridation.
Oral Health America is an America's Promise partner, pledging to provide one
million dental sealants to approximately 225,000 children by 2010. DENTSPLY International and 3-M ESPE are official sponsors for the program, which provides donated dental sealant material to school-based and school-linked programs throughout the U.S. Your program may be elegible for free dental sealants through the Alliance.
